Joe Musso's plays have been presented in thirty states and in Canada. In the summer of 2009, his full-length play Absinthe will receive a staged reading at Penobscot Theatre's 3rd Annual Northern Writes New Play Festival in Bangor, Maine. From August 13-30, 2009, Alley Stage in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, will produce his full-length play Voodoo Today Here Now 5. On May 30, 2008, Voodoo Today Here Now 5 received a staged reading at Penobscot Theatre's 2nd Annual Northern Writes New Play Festival. On May 16, 2009, his full-length play Blood Water received a staged reading at White Horse Theater Company in New York City. This was Blood Water's second staged reading at White Horse Theater Company, the first occuring on June 23, 2008. The play also received a staged reading at Sands Theater Center in Deland, Florida, on January 18, 2009. From May 7-23, 2009, No Tea Productions produced his short play Wisconsin in New York City. From April 23-25, 2009, his one-act Republic County was produced at the 2nd Annual Coastal Empire New Play Festival at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia. On October 3, 2008, his full-length play Roma received a staged reading at Fremont Centre Theatre in South Pasadena, California. From January 9 - February 14, 2009, his short play Buried at Sea was produced as part of Little Fish Theatre's Pick of the Vine One-Act Festival in San Pedro, California. Buried at Sea was also produced by Stormy Weather Players from July 25-26, 2008, as part of its 2008 New Plays Festival in Cornwall, New York, and by Old Opera House Theatre Company from June 20-22, 2008, as part of its 8th Annual New Voice Play Festival in Charles Town, West Virginia. On June 13-14, 2008, his one-minute play He'll Never Learn was produced at Screaming Media Productions' Gone in 60 Seconds Play Festival at the New Workshop Theater on Brooklyn College Campus in Brooklyn, New York. From May 8-10, 2008, his ten-minute play The Gardener was produced at the 3rd Annual Toronto Ten Minute Play Festival in Toronto, Canada. From March 12-15, 2008, the University of West Alabama produced a full-evening of his work entitled Touch Blind Love Kandy: An Evening of Joe Musso's Short Plays. His one-act play School Bus and three of his ten-minute plays -- Touch It, The Class Werewolf, and No It Isn't -- are published by Heuer Publishing. Brooklyn Publishers also publishes four of his ten-minute plays: The Giraffe, Heads Up, Paper Bag, and Edinburgh Castle.
